This Consent Policy explains when Dunamis Energy ("we") asks for your consent, how we record it and how you can change your mind. It covers cookies and similar browser storage, enquiry and quotation forms, optional communications and your language preference. It works alongside our Privacy Policy and is written to respect the EU ePrivacy Directive, GDPR, UK PECR and comparable laws elsewhere.
1. Our approach to consent
Consent must be freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous. We never pre-tick boxes, bundle consent with unrelated terms or treat scrolling, browsing or closing a banner as agreement. Where we rely on another legal basis, such as a legitimate interest in answering your enquiry, we say so in the Privacy Policy.
2. Cookies and browser storage
We use browser storage, which works like a small cookie. We do not use analytics, advertising or social media tracking. The storage items are listed below.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration | Basis |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| dunamisCookies | First-party local storage | Remembers your cookie choice so we do not ask again | Until you clear your browser data | Strictly necessary (no consent needed) |
| dunamisLang (session) | First-party session storage | Keeps your chosen language while you move between pages | Until you close the tab | Interface setting you requested (no consent needed) |
| dunamisLang (saved) | First-party local storage | Remembers the language for future visits | Until you clear your browser data | Only if you click Accept |
Choose Accept or Reject in the banner. Both options are equally easy, and Reject means no optional storage is used. Scrolling is not consent; only a click on Accept counts.
3. Enquiry, contact and quotation forms
When you submit the contact form or the quote request form, you tick a consent box confirming that we may use the details you provide to respond, prepare a quotation and contact you about your request later. This consent covers that enquiry only. Your submission is delivered to our inbox by our own server or, if that is unavailable, by FormSubmit, a form-processing provider. Please do not include identification numbers, bank details or other sensitive information in free-text fields.
4. Optional communications
We do not send newsletters or promotional messages unless you ask for them or clearly opt in. Answering your quotation is not marketing. If you opt in to updates, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in a message or by emailing us.
5. Third-party content
This website loads typography from Google Fonts and photographs from Unsplash and Pexels. Your browser connects directly to those providers, which may receive your IP address and browser details. We do not control cookies they might set. Please read their privacy information if this concerns you.
6. Withdrawing or changing consent
Withdrawing consent must be as easy as giving it. Use the Cookie Settings link in the footer to reopen the banner and change your choice. To withdraw consent to being contacted about an enquiry, or to ask us to delete your enquiry details, email info@dunamisenergyapps.com. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before it, and we may keep limited records where the law requires. You can also delete local storage in your browser settings, though doing so may cause the banner to appear again.
6a. Sharing with service providers
We share enquiry details only with service providers that help us respond, such as our email and hosting providers and FormSubmit. We do not share your details for advertising, and we ask providers to protect them. Details of providers and transfers are in our Privacy Policy.
7. Global Privacy Control
We treat the Global Privacy Control signal as a valid opt-out of any sale or sharing of personal information. We do neither.
8. Children
This website is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect consent or personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has submitted a form, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Records of consent
We keep a record of your cookie choice on your own device and keep enquiry emails, including your consent confirmation, for the period described in our Privacy Policy so that we can demonstrate compliance if asked.
10. Changes and contact
If we change how we use consent, for example by adding new tools, we will update this page and ask again where the law requires. Questions or complaints can be sent to info@dunamisenergyapps.com, and you keep the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
